Now Sold…a Seiko 6105-8000. Superb condition and of course perfect working order. This is a ‘Proof’ version, from February 1969.
I’ve been really looking forward to getting one of these in having seen plenty of the asymmetric 6105-8110 versions. I love those big ‘cushion’ cases, but this smart diver sits so well on the wrist. Perfect.
Like the 62mas diver the bezel on this one has no click and is bi-directional, with a lovely coin edge. In perfect condition except the small mark at 50 – really the only blemish on this 6105.
It’s coming to you fitted on one of my Horween leather straps, these are simple, comfortable and in my opinion fit these divers exceptionally well. Of course you’ll have fun choosing what works for you to.
As always you get from me a 2 week no issue refund period. 6 months warranty in case of any issues and free worldwide delivery.
Seiko 6105-8110 for sale.
All original and in good shape.
I always preferred the chronographs to the vintage divers but there is something about these 6105-811x divers, with their big presence and asymmetrical case that makes it a wonderful watch to wear. The fact it was worn my Martin Sheen in Apocalypse now is cool of course, but these watches deserve their high regard on their own merits. My collection will not be complete without one now.
This watch dates from October 1973 and has the ‘horseshoe’ style case back rather than the plain version.
The outer bezel shows some marks, picked out hard by my camera and lighting setup for you to see exactly. But to the eye this is quite different.
The outer bezel rotates in both directions with a very solid click.
The crown locks very confidently
